SIA Close Protection Course (Level 3)
Close Protection training for both service leavers and those already operating within the Private Security Industry.
Our training meets all the necessary requirements as detailed in the SIA criteria and on successfully passing the course you will be able to apply for your SIA Close Protection Licence. This will show prospective employers that you are qualified and eligible to apply for work within the industry.
(Please note that the SIA will charge for the licence application and this is not included in the cost of the course)
The SIA has set a minimum guideline for training and therefore before a licence is granted you must have attended fully and passed the Level 3 Certificate in Close Protection and be able to provide evidence that you hold a First Aid at Work (FAW) qualifcation. We therefore include the FAW qualification on our Close Protection course.
Close Protection Operatives (CPO) must be capable of operating in a diverse number of situations ranging from remote, hostile environments through to the corporate and executive world. Our course will comprehensively cover all of the competencies required to deal with any given situation whilst also providing valuable insight into the role of a CPO.
The Right People to Train You:
To help you achieve your goal our dynamic team of instructors are all qualified and experienced professionals, highly skilled in the subjects they teach and are all qualified and licensed in Close Protection. Amongst our instructors are experienced and currently operational CPOs from the hostile environment, military and executive close protection sectors.
To ensure that you receive the best level of training and support available there is a 24 hour CP qualified Course Manager to assist with information, advice and support for evening study or course matters in general.
